The creativity in sewing is one of the reasons why the Monroe County Quilt Guild has endured for nearly 30 years. They provide lap blankets and crib-size blankets to agencies such as Heartbeat of Monroe, United Way of Monroe County, Monroe Center Cancer Connection, the Salvation Army and New Beginnings Mercy House.
