(quilting patterns) Area artists prepare for Quilt Barn Trail - Coshocton Tribune
COSHOCTON - Coshocton artists, Esther Marie Versch, Lisa Jane Martin, Gina Rupe and Donna Gleckler began painting the first two quilt squares for Coshocton’s new Quilt Barn Trail. Theresa Scheetz is designing the quilt patterns that will be used for Coshocton’s Quilt Barn Trail from Coshocton’s historic family quilts. The Quilt Barn Trail movement began in Adams County by Donna Sue Groves in honor of her mother who is a noted Ohio quilter. Monetary donations for Coshocton’s trail can be made to the Quilt Barn Project, c/o The Pomerene Center for the Arts. Donna Gleckler and Gina Rupe begin painting the Garden Path Quilt Square that will go on a Barn along Ohio 643. Coshocton Artists Lisa Jane Martin and Esther Marie Versch work on the Chalice Quilt Square that will be located on a barn on Ohio 643. read more
