Penny’s “Trick or Treat at the Haunted House Halloween Quilt” includes 12 different traditional quilt blocks each with some connection to Halloween Witch quilt block, Pumpkin quilt block, Snail’s Trail quilt block, and the Candle quilt block, to name just a few. With her son’s birthday on October 20, Halgren decided to show how the Candle quilt block in the Halloween quilt could easily be changed to a birthday theme as well as surprise her 25 year old son with the online video. For example, most 9 patch quilt blocks are available with full size templates in 6, 9, 12, or 18 inch block patterns. Free quilt block patterns are available for the quilt blocks demonstrated in each video.
