(quilting patterns) Patchwork celebrations at Autumn Artistry (Mitchell County Press-News)
Koren, the owner of Corn Field Designs, will display a cornucopia of vintage quilted treasures designed for home décor and giftware in her first appearance at this year’s Autumn Artistry. Festive fabric pumpkins, Caspian purses, wall hangings-including her signature “Triple Love” creation, special occasion plates, and vintage oil lamps will be among her unique hand made designs. These lamps, “to warm hearts and homes,” are a collection of small memorabilia, including pieces of vintage quilts or fabric, contained inside a glass jar. These lamps can be made in honor of someone or to feature a quilter’s collection,” she explained, adding that you can put fill the jar with their favorite trinkets- marbles, buttons, old photographs, along with the vintage quilt or a favorite shirt.
