The Pieceful Patchers Quilt Guild members are looking forward to a quilting event in Buffalo Township that will take them back more than six decades into one of the most significant events in American history. The annual event, Come Spend the Evening with Pat Knoechel, is an opportunity for Knoechel to share the quilts made by her and her sister, Eleanor Burns, known for revolutionizing quilting methods. This year’s book, “Victory Quilts,” is set to be released next month and “represents a look back in history to the 1940s and life on the home front during the War years” according to the company’s Web site, www.
