(quilting patterns) Quilts are still on display at the Hayes exhibit - Fremont News Messenger
Antique quilts from northern Ohio, including one made in Clyde, are still on display in the special exhibit at the Rutherford B. Hartman was amazed to find a quilt made in 1860 by Sarah Jane Hartman Hibbard from Fitchville. Karen later checked into possible ancestry, and learned that Sarah Jane was not related to her husband, Bernard Hartman, however, Karen’s mother’s sister married Leo Hartman, who was a nephew of Sarah Jane Hartman Hibbard. The all day event includes a morning Sign/Sale/Swap for authors and attendees, a lunch with the authors at Our Town’s Brewin’, and an author panel discussion in the library meeting room in the afternoon.
