Wall is a member of the Arnprior Qullters Guild, which is holding its quilt show this weekend. Although Wall continued in these crafts, it wasn’t until eight years ago when she closed her store after 18 years, a flower and gift shop in Cobden, that she really started to quilt. Funding for these projects comes from the organization’s bi-annual quilt show and quilt raffle. Presented by the Arnprior District Quilters Guild, the two-day event showcases work, “never before shown publicly,” explains Wall. Hand and machine-sewn quilts, wall hangings, bags and wearable art will be on display at the Nick Smith Centre, at 77 James Street in Arnprior.
